Desperate Housewives, season 7 finale

*SPOILER ALERT*

Desperate Housewives. I already lost interest in this series few times back. Sometimes it's way too complicated, and just never stops. Oh and sometimes the stories got a bit scary, you know this series feels little bit mysterious, makes me could not watch it when I am alone. Despite all those things somehow I still managed to watch it. And I think, this season attracted me more than previously, that's why I rushed to watch it, and finished watching it last weekend.

As usual, so many unexpected things happened during this season. Some I like, some I don't. Well, let's list them down one by one (hopefully I could still remember all of them).

For those who wants to watch it by themselves you could stop reading here. For those who don't mind knowing the stories, please continue.

  • Bree and Keith broke up
I like this couple. I like it when Bree doing extreme things. Dating man much younger than her of course can be categorized as one. Other than that, I also like their relationship. But all must be ended when Keith found out he's got a son (7 years old, never knew that he had him, until his past ex GF showed up), then he wanted to live close to his son, somewhere in Florida (not sure). At first he put Bree on his 1st priority, he asked Bree to move to Florida with him, but if Bree won't move he chose to live with Bree. But Bree really became a good person here, by giving him wise explanation that he should just move to Florida, and he could find woman to be loved again. Sad, but sweet and very logical.
  • Susan got a kidney, Beth Young killed herself

From the previous season, there was a riot in Wisteria Lane, caused by Paul Young. Susan became a victim, she lost one kidney, and the other one is not working properly. She needed a kidney transplant, which is not easy to find. She had to go on dialysis 3 times a week, and her body condition is just getting worse. The doctor even said to not delay what she wants to do, which can be interpreted as "you don't have much time, do what you have to do now, while you're still alive". Well, knowing that, it's killing Susan and Mike inside, and so do the ladies gang. Therefore, Bree got an idea. She called all the neighbors in Wisteria Lane, informed the situation, and forced them to be tested, to see whether their kidney match Susan's or not. Well, all of neighbors felt trapped in a room, but they don't really have a choice, because the ladies locked all the access, until they're tested. Very touchy here actually, showed us the beauty of their friendship.
Few weeks after, the result showed that there wer two matches for Susan. Bree and Beth Young. Knowing that, Bree felt that she had an obligation for letting Beth knows. At that time, Beth who had been kicked out by her husband, tried to convince Bree that she wanted to donate her kidney for Susan. But Bree didn't let her doing it. Bree insisted she's the one who would donate the kidney for Susan. Could be because of they're quite close and all. Beth Young was at her lowest point at that time. She felt she's very useless. So she decided to take extreme action. She came to ER, gave donation kidney form, and killed herself. There were a lot of complicated things here, but finally Susan got Beth's kidney.

  •  Felicia Tillman - Paul Young

Felicia Tillman was released from the prison. She was being nice at Paul at the first time, tried to convince Paul that they could put all the past behind them. Turned out she had another mission to kill him. She did it in several ways. From poisoning his food, until tried to kill him in person. Luckily, Susan saved him. Susan somehow believed they lost the old Paul Young, who was a nice person. That's why she tried to help him, by feeding him, tried to talk to him, etc. When she saved him form Felicia, Paul decided to end his dark life. He confessed to police that he's the one who killed Martha.

    •  Confession of Andrew Van De Kemp

Like mother like son, turned out Andrew had the same bad habit as Bree. He became an alcoholic, which cost him a husband. Bree insisted to help him getting out of that bad habit. And so he agreed. Andrew followed step by step given at the therapy, and one of them is to confess to Carlos that he's the one who killed his mother. Of course Bree didn't agree on that, she didn't want Andrew go to jail. But somehow it's revealed. Carlos was very upset as he found out Gaby knew this too, and never said a word to him. Carlos was beyond mad, but he didn't report Andrew to police. Andrew is forgiven, but Carlos is mad at Bree. As what Carlos see, Andrew was still a kid, but Bree is an adult and she hid it from him. So, Carlos ended his friendship with Bree, and forbid Gaby to see Bree.  Gaby cheated on Carlos several times for the sake of being able to see Bree. Even it costs her several days away from his husband. It's kinda sad and funny too, seeing relationship between Gaby and Bree, I never knew two of them are very close.

    • Gaby's past revealed

In this season, Gaby's dark past life is revealed. Along this time she refused to talk about her stepfather, but because of this psychiatry she's seeing, she's been advised to go back to her hometown and just finish of whatever it left that affected her emotions now. Coming back form her hometown with better feeling, later on she found out that her stepfather is still alive. She felt scared, trying to learn everything for self-defense, just in case of anything, One day, when she's alone at home, she surprisingly found her stepfather was in there, too. Carlos, who just entered the house, saw her stepfather there. He thought he's going to take a gun from his pocket, so he hit him first, until he died. Turned out he didn't have any gun with him. At that time, neighbors were about to come to their house. Gaby - Carlos didn't know what to do, but they knew if Carlos confessed himself to the police, they will surely put him into jail. Then the women decided to keep it to themselves, and acted as if it never happened. Oh, and Bree was there too. So, it was the "reunited" moment between Bree and Gaby, too.

    • Tom - Lynnete : SEPARATED!!

Tom got a new job, and it's a very great job. He's now a CFO of a big company. He has a very important role in that company. He kinda enjoyed become an important person, about how people looked up to him, how people would turn to silent and paid attention on him when he started speaking. Kind of those things. And not to forget the high salary also. Lynette was the one who fully supported him at the first time. Previously Tom didn't dream big to reach a position like this. But Lynette keep pushing, yeah of course because she wanted to have a glamor life etc. Once it became reality, she cannot stand Tom became very busy, and moreover she cannot stand being the "plus one". She also cannot stand Tom made the decision, just because he's the one who got the money, so he could decide. And these things became big, until one day they decided to separate. Oh come on, Lynette, I kinda hate you on this. Why do you have to be very superior like this?? I like this couple, not their relationship because Lynette's way too superior, but more because they're the one who survive through a lot of rough times and they have 5 kids together for God's sake!! I don't know what next season bring, but if they want to reunite, Lynette really have to learn to adjust herself.

So, that's the wrap of DHW 7th season. A lot of things happened in this season. Well, I heard they will end it at the next season. Hope it will be a happy ending, though!!
