Let's continue with the rest of our days in Phuket!

Day 4: Phi-Phi Island - Full day tour

We started from hotel earlier today, heading to the pier for departing to Phi-Phi Island. It was cloudy that morning. As we depart, small rain was falling. We're going to visit Maya Bay first, which is quite far from the pier. It took us around one hour by speedboat. And it's totally different compared to the previous day. Speed boat was operated in FULL speed. It is very fast, and bumpy. I was having a sea-sick, which I rarely had. So I was not enjoying at all, I even put my BB in my bag, hahaha.

One hour like this! Can you imagine?

But then, it's all paid off...

I am sure many of you ever heard a place called Phi-Phi Island. Another famous place because of the Hollywood movie was taken in here. Title of the movie is "The Beach", starred by the handsome actor, Leonardo Di Caprio. I remember I watched that movie. But I cannot remember the scenery on it. I just remember the song, it's sang by All Saints. Another sign of audial person :)

Phuket, 23 - 28 March 2011 - Part 1

Last March, I went to Phuket with my friend, Nanda. Yes, just the two of us. Some people think it's weird, to go on holiday only two of us. You know, people say "the more the merrier". But from my side, it's quite good to go on holiday this way. Because it's more simple. More people involved means more thoughts, and it means much harder to take a decision. In our case, it's very effective to make a plan. From decide on what dates we would go, buying tickets, which hotels to stay, and what activities we should do there. I can't even imagine if there is 5 of us going, it would be very difficult to decide on such things.

Well, now let me share what we did in Phuket.

The Lion King, Sands Theatre - Marina Bay Sands

Disclaimer: This post is not about review nor synopsis of The Lion King show. It's just about my experience enjoying the show.

Sekitar bulan Februari saya mendengar akan ada Lion King broadway musical show di Singapore selama 3 bulan mulai 1 Maret - 31 Mei 2011. Wah, resah deh. Saya ini pecinta musical show, apalagi yang lagu-lagunya sudah familiar seperti Lion King ini. Jadi pas denger tentang ini langsung deh hati kebat-kebit pengen nonton. Tapi setelah menimbang-nimbang beberapa hal (baca: money, money, money), diputuskan untuk meredam keinginan untuk menonton. Maklum, tidak ada budget.

Sampe akhirnya pas minggu ke-3 April, keinginan yang sudah diredam itu muncul lagi. Emang sih budgetnya ga ada, tapi in my defense "kapan lagi bakal ada di Singapur?" Ditambah pemikiran dulu nyeseeel banget karena ga nonton Phantom of the Opera musical show yang ada di Singapur juga pas tahun 2007. Dan bener aja kan kenyataannya sampe sekarang juga belom ada lagi. Jadi yasudahlah diniatkan aja mengambil tabungan demi Lion King tercinta. Eh, ternyata oh ternyata rejeki emang ada aja. Si mama yang emang pada dasarnya suka ikut-ikutan (hihi maaf loh mam!), pengen juga nonton Lion King. Jadi-lah diputuskan untuk pergi bertiga sm mamita dan adekku. Otomatis semua-muanya jadi gratis dong yaaa. Tiket PP by Jet Star (around 400USD in total), dan menginap semalam di Swissotel the Stamford. Alhamdulillah.

There's always the first time for everything

Hello, world!!
Create my own blog is the last thing I have in my mind. I love to read people's writing, and I always admire those who are good at writing. And of course I want to be able to make a good one. But I keep telling myself, writing is one of my weakness. I am quite good at talking but I know I am lousy at writing. And that's it. I don't even bother to try, because I know I am bad at it. But then, it just comes on my mind. Why do'nt just try? There's no loss in trying. I could always learn something by doing so. That's why this blog created. I haven't decided what's to be written on this blog yet. I guess I won't give any limitation, I will just write about anything I have in mind.
